FAQs

Question

What are the COVID restrictions?

Answer

As of right now, there is a mask mandate in Wake County. Masks are required in the church, the hotel lobby area, and in transportation, so please prepare accordingly. Additionally, masks need to be worn during the reception at any time that you are not actively eating or drinking. If you are feeling unwell on the day of the wedding, we ask that you stay at home to be on the safe side. If you are not vaccinated, we kindly ask that you get tested before you come or reconsider attendance for the safety of everyone involved. If you make this decision, please text or call us to let us know. We recognize there is always risk and encourage all guests to use their own judgment to make the best decision for themselves, their family, and others attending based on how they are feeling and their vaccination status. We love everyone and just want to have a safe and fun time!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting).

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will head straight to the reception to take pictures. Guests should travel back to the hotel, where a shuttle will pick them up about an hour after the ceremony. Please see the travel page for more information.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is parking available at both the church and the reception venue for guests who choose to drive. At the church, there is parking in a lot behind Cathedral School and Parish Office - the entrance is on W. Edenton St., as well as street parking surrounding the area.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adult-only event (13+) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
