Getting to Kennebunkport

By Car: Kennebunkport is about a five-hour drive from New York City. By Plane: 1. You can fly into Boston, MA (BOS) and rent a car - all major rental car companies have desks at BOS. The drive from BOS to Kennebunkport is just under two hours. 2. There is an airport in Portland, ME (PWM) with good service between major east coast cities. PWM is about 30 minutes from Kennebunkport by rental car or Uber. All major rental car companies have desks at PWM. By Train: The Amtrak Downeaster train stops in Wells, ME (25 min South of Kennebunkport) and Saco, ME (25 min north of Kennebunkport). Please note that if you are taking the train from New York City, you will have to transfer in Boston from Boston South Station to Boston North Station.

Babysitting

Kennebunkport/Goose Rocks Beach are very family friendly places and we want it to be as easy as possible for you to enjoy a weekend in Maine with your whole family. Portland Nannies is a highly recommended babysitting agency in the area, in case you want to bring your kids with you for the weekend. They are accustomed to taking care of children in the various area hotels. While we are not seating children at the reception, they are welcome at all other events during the weekend, including the ceremony and cocktail hour.
