Walt Disney World Resort January 2025 We chose a holiday weekend since most everyone will have to travel. As of right now we are planning a Welcome Event for Friday night - location tbd. Ceremony Saturday, late afternoon; reception to follow. Formal Cocktail attire, please no all black or white. There will be entertainment for the kids during the reception (in the same space) so they won't get bored and mom and dad can dance the night away. I will update the new booking link as soon as I have it.
Attire: Formal Cocktail Attire - Please no black or white. Yes we have a color palette for the wedding and we are asking that no one wear all black or white. White is pretty self explanatory, it's a wedding you don't wear white to a wedding. But no black or no all black is unique to our wedding. So please no black suits, no little black dresses. Black dress pants are fine so long as they are paired with a colored button down - no black on black. We have a color palette - which if you want the hex numbers let me know - of course I have them. I've made the color palette on the gallery page. If you'd like to wear a color in the palette that would be lovely. If not that's ok too. Children are encouraged to wear whatever they are comfortable in - Also princesses, princes or pirates are more than welcome.
Hotel Booking: Please note you have the option to book directly: https://book.passkey.com/go/G0830851 Or over the phone with the group reservation agents by calling (407) 827-6799. To book their rooms with a phone agent, your guests can mention either the Morris & Smith Wedding or G0830851. Please note adjacent rooms, connecting rooms or specific room location and types of rooms or bedding are on a "request basis only" and are subject to availability at the time of check-in. There are additional hotels and information provided on the Travel page.
If you or anyone in your party have a food allergy please let me know and let me know what level of cross contamination is acceptable. We are doing a plated meal and Disney is fantastic with allergies so we want to make sure no one has to worry. Subject Line: Allergy email: johnandsarah.march2024@gmail.com (Don't ever make the wedding email address before setting the date *insert eyeroll here*) hahaha
We're not. We aren't doing a gift registry because well, we've done this before and you all are traveling to celebrate with us. If pushed if it has flamingos or llamas on it we will love it. Or is a gift card. Or is a tool. We have wish lists on Amazon but again - please join us, don't worry about a gift.
Email: JohnAndSarah.March2024@gmail.com (we both have our own emails of course)

Short answer - Because we want to. Long Answer - Had we married someone else we would have had a wedding - so why wouldn't we have one now? Really, we don't have to. We want to. Our first marriage was fast and quick and a struggle. We are so thankful for the wedding my parents threw us in 2004. They didn't have to do that. We are forever grateful. That said, we are rebuilding our relationship, and for us having a ceremony and party at a location that we love - it's for us more than anyone else. But really, we want to celebrate our relationship, and invite you to join us.
