Parking directly in front of the chapel is reserved for elderly or people who have trouble walking. If this does not apply to you, you can find complimentary parking in the Ford Hall parking structure a short walk from the chapel. Following the ceremony, guests are welcome to drive to the cocktail hour and reception at the Donovan Pavilion. There is ample parking in the Donovan's parking lot!
Yes! Our ceremony will be held at the Beaver Creek chapel, which is a 15 minute drive from the Donovan Pavilion in Vail. We recommend carpooling or taking a ride share to the chapel, and then back down to the Donovan for cocktail hour and the reception. The Donovan Pavilion is near the heart of Vail, with ample parking out front.
The city of Vail offers many shuttles to-and-from the airport. Please refer to our Travel & Accommodations page for a recommendation. You can also find great options with a quick Google search!
Dress is formal. We are so excited to see men wearing suits or tuxedos, and women wearing cocktail or full-length dresses.
Vail temperatures in November regularly hit a high of 39° and a low of 15°. It is likely that it could be snowing on your drive up to the mountains and during your stay. Please also keep in mind that the altitude is just over 8,000 feet-- drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, and be mindful of the effects of elevation when consuming alcohol.
We LOVE your kids-- but due to space and guest count restrictions, we have decided to give you the night off! We ask that if your child's name was not on the invitation, please leave them at home.
If your invitation says "and guest," we would love to have you bring a date! If not, we look forward to celebrating with just you.
