Travel Note
To those unfamiliar with international travel, here is some help to the process of getting into India. Get passports/Check expiration dates: Passports are required for travel to India, get this started ASAP as the process can take months to complete. Get a India Travel Visa: India requires a visa before traveling for US passport holders. Thankfully this process is relatively quick, and can in general be done online. Here is a website to get started: https://www.cgisf.gov.in/page/e-visa/
Flight
Book a flight into Indira Gandi International Airport (DEL). This is a long flight from the US. If you are unfamiliar with international travel, try finding either a direct flight from the US to India, as international layovers can a bit complicated. Look to arrive in DEL airport on Wednesday the 26th, but no later than 9am on the 27th (local time). The shortest flights are around 18h, and I would recommend against anything over 27h. For a one way flight expect the cost to be ~600$. Please note that there is a substantial time difference between India and US when booking flights.
Shuttle
November 26, 2025 12:00 am - 11:45 pm
We will be running a series of cars/busses between the New Delhi Airport and the wedding venue. Starting on the 26th with the last scheduled departure at 11am on the 27th, in order to make it to all of the wedding events. Additional trips will be made as needed for late flights. This shuttle will take about 6 hours, and stop for food/bathrooms. Please check back here later for details of how contact the drivers when you arrive in India.
Hotel
The hotel where you will be staying is the same location as the wedding! So once you arrive, no more travel will be needed. Rooms and food are covered during your stay. Please list any food allergies in the RSVP, so we can work with the chefs to make some menu items that will work for you!
Shuttle
March 30, 2025 12:00 am - 5:00 pm
After the wedding is over, we will be running a series of shuttles back to the New Delhi airport. Hotel check out is at 12pm on Sunday the 30th. Just like the inbound shuttle, this trip will take about 6 hours and will make a stop for food/restrooms.
Flight
For return flights, try to follow the same tips as before. Should try to arrive at least 3 hours before your flights. The airport should allow you to enter ~8 hours before your flight.
Travel Note
If you are interested in extending your India travel. Please join us in Goa! It is a popular beach tourist region and will be a nice few days of relaxing. Instead of flying back to the US after the wedding on the 30th, plan to fly to Goa. There are two airports here, Dabolin (GOI) is preferred. We will be staying at 142 Ghorbhat 24-25, Arpora, Goa 403519, India. Try to look for an AirBnb or hotel nearby. There are a number of 3 or 4 bedroom villas available nearby, so consider booking with others. We plan to leave on the 3rd to fly back to Delhi for our trip back home. When searching flights consider booking either two round trip tickets or a series of one way flights. The Goa airports are small, so most international flights will route back through Delhi or Mumbai.
