Although he may not be there physically on this day, he is watching from the Heavens. My dad was an example of a loving father and showed me the love that my Heavenly Father shows me. He was caring for everyone he came across and he taught me how to be adventurous. My dad had a smile and laugh that could brighten up any room. I’m blessed to have had my father for 21 almost 22 years. My dad and mom had a love that was so beautiful. I want my marriage to be like theirs. This is my Uncle Mike Salo. He is my mom’s older brother and was my dad’s very best friend. My family all grew up in Laporte, Indiana which is how they all met. My Uncle Mike and Dad hung out together growing up and we always took family trips to Florida every Summer and met up with Uncle Mike, Aunt Teresa, and my cousin Claire. We had some of the best times all together! My Uncle got to spend a little bit of the Summer with us in 2018 which was my dad’s last Summer with us. They cooked out together and watched movies and talked about old times. I love my Uncle so much! Although I am his niece, he has always treated me as if I was a daughter too! I love his “Hello Beautiful” and his beautiful encouraging words. ❤️ Everyone meet my Uncle Mike. You’ll love him!❤️

This is Jillian Carlile. (AKA Jillian Dru) Jillian is from Flowermound, Texas. Jillian is the first person I met at Evangel. We met on Twitter all because I tweeted a picture of my acceptance letter. Jillian then followed me and we began talking. Once we got to EU, Jillian and I created some of the best adventures there from dorm dance parties, baked potato parties, random drives, running back once minute before curfew, and so much more! Jillian became a sister to me instantly! Jillian and I have been through so much together and our friendship has only grown stronger. I will also never forget when Jillian spent her week off from camp with us in the Summer of 2016! I love Jillian so much and I am blessed to have her as my Maid of Honor. You’re going to love her! This is Claire Salo. Claire Salo is originally from Plant City, Florida. Claire is my cousin! I met Claire when she was born! Lol! Claire and I have a lot of stories together! Almost every Summer, our parents and us got together in Florida. Whether we were going to Universal, Seaworld, the beach, or the lake house! It was so fun to have a cousin close to my age! She is like the only one! Lol! Claire also got to visit us in Oklahoma a few times and it was so fun making all of the memories together! From meeting friends to showing her the very few things we had in my hometown! Haha! We enjoyed every moment together though! Claire is gorgeous, super fun, outgoing, and hilarious! Catie is probably the only person that never calls me Skyler. It’s either Sky or my middle name, Nicole. Catie was my travel buddy. We have been everywhere together. Indiana, Florida, and so on. She has been apart of my family since 3rd Grade and we are so blessed to have her. Catie and I did some pretty weird things growing up..... From making weird videos that made no sense to ghost hunting in my house.....(yes I believe in the LORD but we were weird children). When my friend and her were nearby my home with her dad playing soccer, they came over to my house. Erika spilt chili on my floor. It was the best! I also brought them pickles from my house so we could all eat them. Fast forward to 8th grade home economics class, Erika and I were in there together. We became best friends the day she laughed her head off at me for crying about a cartoon guy dying in our home economics book from sniffing bleach. This is Kasidi Shorey. Kasidi is from Chickasaw, Oklahoma. Kasidi and I met in Chorale at Evangel University. I called her my Oklahomie because she was the only other Oklahoma person in there. Kasidi and I first hung out at The Potter’s House. (coffee shop in Springfield) We talked for hours that night and it was the best time. From then on, she has been such a sweet friend to me. I will never forget when my dad got really sick and she let me stay in her dorm with her and she would stay in mine as well. We used to have late night heart to hearts in our prayer room in our dorm. We were tour partners on our Chorale trip. We played with the sleep number bed so long! 😂 Kas has been there with me through so many things and I love her so much! This is Kasidi. We have seen each other on the roughest of days and nights! I’ll never forget when I was so sick one night and Kayla pulled an all nighter basically with me even though the next day was a school day.
