It was just another day in Phoenix, Arizona. The sun was shining, the September air was warm, and apparently, the stars were aligned too. On this morning fate would bring the two together, as Skylar pitched a vision to a small group of entrepreneurs in the office building where Kaitlin worked. As Skylar shared his vision for hemp clothing, Katie did what she did best, showing up fashionably late for the activities. As Katie walked in, Skylar heard the "click clacks" of her shoes in the midst of his presentation. Being a man of poise he remained focused until his time was done. Not too long after, Kaitlin approached Skylar, who was intrigued by her confidence but also stunned by her first demand of him. "Why don't you make women's products?" Left speechless he smiled, admiring her spirit and beauty. He agreed, but as all entrepreneurs face at one point in time could only do so much at the moment until more sales were made. As the event came to an end, they never exchanged information... BUT Katie did what any wise woman would do after meeting a strapping young lad, and took a photo of Skylar presenting and shared it on her Instagram, making absolutely sure to tag him in it. It was only a matter of time before Skylar saw the "story" and did what any man would do after a beautiful and intelligent woman tagged him in her story. He followed her back! After this exchange, the two never really tangoed, but God had other plans. Not too long after the event Skylar went back to his homeland of Minnesota for a few-month expedition, Also known as the quarter-life crisis. When back in the frozen tundra Skylar noticed that Kaitlin was in Minneapolis for work. The man was stunned as to how could a random scenario bring them together not once, but twice. So he did what any dude what do at this time of his life when few things made sense and slid into Katies DM's. Funny enough, Kaitlin was also surprised to learn that Skylar was where she was and agreed to meet up. After Skylar switched roles and showed up late to their first official date, the two journeyed into deep conversation. Between sips of local craft beer and smiles exchanged the two began to sense this was bigger than it appeared. For the following days and weeks and months, the two face-timed every single night. Until the day arrived, when Skylar came back to the desert vibes and the two then embarked on the adventure of a lifetime.
