People keep asking me what they should wear to the wedding or if there is anything to avoid.  I thought I would leave the definition of black tie creative here, and some looks to inspire.  The definition of black tie creative is simple, yet complex. It’s a dress code that insists you know the rules of black tie, so that you can effectively break them in subtle ways. It means respecting a long, upheld tradition of black tie, but adding a bit of creativity and fun to it.  

So with that, please longer dresses and formal attire, but feel free to have fun with color, patterns, accessories, whatever you like!  If you know me, you know I love clothes and I'll love to see creative stuff at my wedding.
