Matron of Honor
Minden Toyota is Sara’s older sister and her longest-standing friend. When Sara and Justin first started dating, Sara humorously described Minden as the "dragon" Justin would need to impress to win her affection. Minden is deeply knowledgeable about Sara, even keeping track of her food preferences to help remember which restaurants have the best mozzarella sticks. As both a best friend and a devoted mother, Minden holds a special place in Sara’s life.
Best Man
Nicholas Garrett, Justin’s best man, and his wife Tasha traveled from Boise, Idaho, to join the celebration. Justin and Nicholas have been friends since middle school and grew even closer during college while working together at the student newspaper. Justin credits Nicholas with helping him secure that job, which set him on the path to a career in public service. For this, Justin remains profoundly grateful to Nicholas.
Bridesmaid
Demi and Sara have the longest friendship among the wedding party. They first met while playing soccer in 6th grade. Sara often notes that Demi is the friend with whom she can go days without talking and still pick up right where they left off. Their enduring bond has remained strong despite the physical distance that may have separated them over the years.
Groomsman
Jeff and Justin’s friendship dates back to middle school, where they bonded over their shared experiences in the band and on the golf team at James B. Castle High School. Since moving to Portland, Oregon in 2012 to pursue a career in tech, Jeff has remained a cherished friend. We’re thrilled to have him with us for this special celebration.
Bridesmaid

Jessica’s selflessness and warmth make her an extraordinary friend.
