After meeting briefly at a Georgetown alumni event, Rahul was walking out of the Trader Joe's in West End with his groceries when he saw Lili standing outside of the store, recognizing her face as it was lit up by her "big iPhone". He sauntered over to her and commented: "that's a big Phone". Lili turned around and recognized the tall handsome stranger she had met long ago. They had one of those life-changing conversations and as they started dating, Rahul referred to her as "the Trader Joe's girl." As companionship grew to like and later grew to love, Lili quickly moved from being "Trader Joe's girl" to "the girl."
