We're getting married!

Some people believe in “love at first sight”. However, in this case it took a second time for things to come together. Randomly meeting one another (the 1st time) in a Starbucks on a Friday evening, exchanging pleasantries and going their separate ways. Fast forward 2 years and they’d both get a second chance at a first impression. The evening of October 22nd 2016 would set in motion the series of events that have led us to this point. “I always knew it would be her..” Ajay claims. “It was only ever a matter of time.”

After having that ever important conversation with her parents and little brother, Ajay showed them the ring and asked for Jocelyn's hand, they proudly gave him their blessing. On Saturday, June 3rd while out to dinner with Jocelyn to celebrate her recent promotion, with the help of her cousins and a small team, their new home was being transformed and filled with family and friends and being prepared for the moment that would change everything. Upon pulling into the garage, Jocelyn heard the voice of one of her favorite artists singing one of the most beautiful love songs ever written. “No one makes me feel the way you do inside…” PJ Morton’s First Began was playing as they walked into the house. Seeing her parents, grandparents, little brother and a host of others Jocelyn knew exactly what was to come. After sharing from his heart and declaring his love, Ajay dropped to one knee and “popped the question”. An eager, emotional and emphatic response of “Yes” followed by the cheers and applause of those in attendance rang out in their living room.
