With the exception of children, we expect our guests to be vaccinated. Emily was afraid of germs before it was cool so hand sanitizer will be plentiful. The ceremony space and part of the reception space are inside but doors will be opened to keep air flowing. We encourage those of you who will be flying to self-test and ask that you stay home if you have the sniffles (we'll find another time to celebrate with you). We'll provide updates if things change!
Casual. North Carolina in August is just too hot for fancy clothes. Please wear what makes you feel comfortable and celebratory!

The bad news is that there is very limited street parking in Durham. The good news is that downtown is small and quite walkable. If you plan to drive, we recommend parking in one of the city parking garages. The Chapel Hill Street Garage, Durham Centre Garage, and Morgan Rigsbee Garage are all about a 10 minute walk to Motorco (as is the 21c Museum Hotel if you will be staying there). Parking is free after 7PM. The Pit Restaurant is right across the street from Motorco so transportation won't be necessary between the ceremony and reception. Please note that both venues are accessible.
