Hello!

They were in Grand Rapids for the weekend to celebrate both of us being done with school for good and to see some friends. After spending Saturday evening in Grand Rapids at a hockey game with friends (duh), they all decided to go down to the Blue Bridge to see the lights and enjoy the night. After taking photos of our friends, we took a "photo" together, and much to Shelby's surprise, Colton got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

They were both working at Cranberries Cafe in Goodrich, Shelby had a crush on Colton but didn't say anything. One night while they were both working, Patty (Colton's aunt) got an idea and started setting up for Colton to ask Shelby out. Every one of their coworkers were dropping hints for Colton to ask her out. After a few short weeks, Colton asked Shelby out for dinner and a movie.
