Noah and Alexa were running around with the same group of friends for some time before they were formally introduced. They often went to the same parties, concerts, and birthdays without knowing who the other person was. However, at the end of summer in 2020 this finally changed. A get together at the rooftop pool of the Virgin Hotel in Dallas got the two talking and the whole group decided to get together again the next night for bowling. Noah and Alexa were both naturally competitive and this started some flirty banter between them. After bowling, the group moved to a nearby bar for some after game libations. A few hours later everyone else had wandered off, but Noah and Alexa stayed, dancing the night away together. Near the end of the night with one deep look into each other's eyes they had their first kiss. The next few months were filled with them hanging out as friends and stealing kisses from each other every chance they had. Noah took Alexa on their first official date on December 5th, 2020 to the drive-in movies. He brought her all of her favorite snacks that she had talked about over the past months including the strange ones like pickles and chocolate milk. On December 20th, 2020 Noah took Alexa to a Cowboys game in the McCathern suite and by the time they had gotten home that evening they had finally told each other that they were in love with one another and began their dating-relationship together. Their dating-relationship was full of love and fun and adventure. They travelled as much as they could: New Mexico, California, Atlanta, Vail, Italy, France, Michigan, Mexico City and Florida making new memories together every step of the way. Whether it was whale watching, pottery classes, sporting events, gondola rides, boating, bike riding or running down all the stairs of the Eiffel Tower, these two did everything together from the moment they set out. Without Alexa realizing it, in the fall of 2022 Noah asked Alexa's parents for her hand and began looking for rings, and on December 31st, 2022 their relationship changed forever. They were on a trip with friends to a ranch celebrating the beginning of the new year, and little did Alexa know, the beginning of the rest of her life. The weekend was full of live music, theme parties, and lots of dancing. At sunset on New Year’s Eve Noah took Alexa out on a drive around the property until they got out to the highest point. When they were there, Noah gave Alexa some binoculars and asked her to look and try to see if anything was on the horizon. She couldn’t see anything through the binoculars, but that was fine because the best sight was right behind her. When she turned around Noah was kneeling down with a small box in his hand. He said to her “Today I am one hundred percent ready, I love you forever, will you be my wife?” Almost speechless from being so surprised Alexa said “Yes, of course.” And the night went on to be full of congratulations, dancing, and fireworks bringing in the new year and this new chapter in their lives together. Now it is time to make it official, please come out to celebrate the future McCatherns and surround them with love on this special day.
