While we would love to have all loved ones attend our wedding events, we kindly ask that you only bring who was listed on the invitation and in the RSVP tab to all wedding events. The venue capacity restrictions are strictly enforced. Because we know many of you will make a vacation out of this trip with your families, you are more than welcome to travel with other family members/friends to Banff (because why wouldn't they want to visit!) to watch your loved ones. The hotel also provides babysitting services. Please contact Nicole for more info.
We will be hiring a shuttle to bring those staying off property to and from the Banff Springs Hotel on Friday June 23rd. More info to come...
The best way to explore is to rent a car from Calgary Airport so you can maximize your sightseeing opportunities, however there are shuttles that you can pre-book to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Banff also provides other public transportation options as well. Note there are no Ubers or Lyfts inside Banff National Park. Please see the Travel page for more details.
Yes, there is a large parking garage next to the hotel. You will have to pay for parking there. There is also limited street parking outside of the hotel.
Yes. There are plenty of parking lots in and near the main street(s) in Downtown Banff.
The end of June in Banff is a beautiful time of year with warmer days and cooler nights. The temperature will likely be between 60-67°F (around 15-19°C) during the day, but can drop into the 30-40°F's at night so pack accordingly. We will be very close to the summer solstice so the sun will be out until 10:00pm!
Absolutely! We stayed in Canmore both times we visited. It's an easy 20-min ride to Banff and there are many more rental property options (this is because the Canadian government limits the number of rental properties inside Banff National Park).
Possibly. If you rent a car, you will need to purchase a pass to get into Banff National Park. You pay by car, by day. It is best to pre-purchase your pass to avoid the line at the park entrance, however passes can be purchased once you are there. Use this link to book your pass: https://www.banfflakelouise.com/park-pass-purchase
The Park Distillery is about a 6-min drive or a 20-min walk from the Banff Springs Hotel. You can absolutely walk and we highly recommend you do as it's a beautiful walk through Downtown Banff. However if you want to drive you may do that as well as there are plenty of parking lots in and around Downtown Banff.
There are 2 pools at the Fairmont Banff Springs (indoor and outdoor). If you get a spa treatment at the hotel you have access to a number of other pools including a mineral bath.
