When should I book my flight?

Answer

You can book it as soon as you want. The airport you should look to fly into is MDE (Jose Maria Cordova International Airport). The date will not change as the bride and groom have already signed the contract for April 12, 2025 lol

Where should I book my hotel? // ¿Dónde debo reservar mi hotel?

Answer

We are currently in partnership with The Click Clack Hotel located in El Poblado, Antioquia. The reason we chose a hotel in this area is because it is the most tourist friendly place in the Medellin area. You can find anything from food, drinks, entertainment, night life and everything in between. You can use discount code: LAURAABR2025MDEMARK for 12% off of your booking. The hotel offers pick up to and from the airport at an additional cost. It also offers multiple restaurant options, rooftop bar and pool. Booking will become available in the beginning of May 2024. While you do not have to stay in this hotel, we recommend it as transportation to and from the wedding activities will be from this point. If you decide to look elsewhere, please seek to stay in El Poblado for easy accessibility and a great time. ________ Actualmente estamos en alianza con The Click Clack Hotel ubicado en El Poblado, Antioquia. La razón por la que elegimos un hotel en esta zona es porque es el lugar más turístico de la zona de Medellín. Puede encontrar de todo, desde comida, bebidas, entretenimiento, vida nocturna y todo lo demás. Puedes utilizar el código de descuento: LAURAABR2025MDEMARK con un 12% de descuento en tu reserva. El hotel ofrece recogida desde y hacia el aeropuerto con un coste adicional. También ofrece múltiples opciones de restaurante, bar en la azotea y piscina. La reserva estará disponible a principios de mayo de 2024. Si bien no es necesario alojarse en este hotel, lo recomendamos ya que el transporte hacia y desde las actividades de la boda será desde este punto. Transportation to the wedding from the hotel?

Answer

We are currently working on finding a transportation company that will take us to and from all the wedding activities (welcome party, excursion and wedding event). If you happen to run late or prefer to book your own transportation, we highly encourage that you stick with the transportation provided by the hotel such as taxis. Ubers are also an option but keep in mind that Ubers may ask you to sit in the front seat. It is normal and this is to avoid the Uber from being pulled over as Ubers are a gray area in Colombia.

What is the best way to get to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

If you decide to stay at the Click Clack hotel, please note that they are able to provide transportation to and from the airport at an additional cost. Once you have booked, you may email them requesting pick up service from the airport to this email: grupos@clickclackhotel.com. If you decide to book at a different hotel/airbnb, we recommend that you reach out to your hotel to see if pick up from airport is possible.

Is Medellin, Colombia safe?

Answer

There's a saying in Colombia that goes "no de papaya" that basically means "don't go looking for reasons to get into trouble". Like in all places, exercise caution. MEN: stay out of dating sites and avoid prostitutes. Go out and enjoy yourself in groups. Stay in tourist areas like El Poblado or malls, parks. When in doubt please reach out (to the bride and groom)

Can I bring a plus one?// ¿Puedo traer un invitado?

We are thrilled to be sharing our special day with you and appreciate your presence at our wedding. As we finalize our guest list, we wanted to kindly clarify our invitation guidelines. Due to venue capacity and other constraints, we have had to limit our guest list strictly to those individuals listed on the save the date envelope. If the envelope includes a 'plus one,' we have specifically addressed it to you and your chosen guest. We hope you understand our need to keep our celebration intimate and personal. We look forward to celebrating with you! ______ Estamos encantados de compartir nuestro día especial con usted y apreciamos su presencia en nuestra boda. Mientras finalizamos nuestra lista de invitados, queremos aclarar nuestras pautas de invitación. Formal Invitations will follow in by the end of August/ early September with full information and RSVP requests. If you are sure that you're going to make it as of today, please go over and RSVP in the "RSVP tab". However, your response is not needed until October 15, 2024. _____ Las invitaciones formales seguirán en agosto/septiembre con información completa y solicitudes de confirmación de asistencia. Si estas seguro de que podras asistir a partir de hoy, vaya y confirme su asistencia en la pagina de "RSVP". Sin embargo, su respuesta no es necesaria hasta el 15 de octubre de 2024.
