Greg and I met on the Facebook Dating App in the midst of the COVID pandemic in June of 2020. Greg asked me out to "Chill in Marlborough" for our first date. I had to Google if that was an actual place because my initial thought was "okay, but what do you want to do?". Lo and behold, it was the name of an actual restaurant. We had our first date at "Chill Kitchen & Bar" in Marlborough, MA. Greg ordered a whiskey cocktail that was pink and had a flower. He didn't know that was how the drink was going to look (I thought it was pretty), so he ordered a beer after to "redeem himself". He knows how to spot a good restaurant because the food was delicious! He got Chicken Parm and I got the Lobster Mac and Cheese. It marked the beginning of many delicious and memorable meals together. After our second date a week later, Greg invited me to go to a 4th of July party. It was a humid and buggy night, so I brought my new mosquito net bug suit because I am passionate about avoiding bug bites. Greg was smitten when he saw me in it and we haven't spent a day apart since! After our second anniversary (at Chill Kitchen & Bar because we made that a tradition) I looked over at Greg while enjoying another Lobster Mac and Cheese and told him "I am going to start sending you ring pictures now." To which he said "Okay". Greg proposed on February 18, 2023 on a weekend getaway in Portland, Maine. You could say it was a surprise or you could say I manifested it. We are loving this time of wedding planning together and are so excited for our future. We look forward to celebrating on our special day with all of our closest family and friends.
