Holiday Inn Resort Goa (Mobor Beach, Cavelossim)

Welcome! Your stay for the wedding will be March 15 through March 17. You will be coordinating with our wedding planner about your day/time of arrival who will ensure you get to the hotel from the airport/railway station. Guests who are part of the wedding party will be contacted separately about dates as some will be asked to arrive earlier.

Flight

Dabolim Airport (GOI) - South Goa

For those coming from the US, we recommend you arrive in India 3-4 days in advance so you can adjust to the jetlag. You can book flights directly to Goa (which often has a 6-8 hour layover in Mumbai or Delhi) or you can fly to any major city in India and book a separate flight to Goa. Flights from Mumbai to Goa are typically 50-100 USD roundtrip. We recommend booking domestic travel flights (within India) in January. For return flights - if your flight is departing on the 17th morning, it is highly likely that you will return to the US by the 17th. Please keep this in mind when booking returns.

Train

Madgaon Railway Station

If you're wanting to travel from Mumbai to Goa via train, there are a variety of options to chose from. The website linked above is one of the few you can use to book a train. Note that travel by train typically takes between 8 and 11 hours, while a flight takes 1 hour. The prices can range between 400INR - 2000INR (5-25USD).
