Brett ane Lizzie met during St. Pats while attending Missouri University of Science and Technology (Rolla) in 2016 where thay were intoduced by their mutual friend Aspen. They began officially dating on May 7, 2017.

After graduating in May 2017, Brett moved to Jonesboro, AR while Lizze continued her education until graduating in May 2018. Lizzie moved to Burlington, IA after graduation and they would meet half way in St. Louis on the weekends. The couple was excited when Brett moved back to St. Louis in the fall of 2018 and the drive to see each other was only 3.5 hours!

Lizzie moved back to St. Louis in the fall of 2019 and the couple loved getting to live in and explore the city while living in Maplewood , Mo. The world shut down due to COVID and after cancelling their trip to Denver, Brett proposed in their apartment at the end of March 2020. Since then they have bought their first house and are having a blast making it a reflection of them!
