For transportation to the venue and or hotel, Ubers are available. Similarly, there is a local cab service/app called 'Ola' and 'Namma Yatri' that can also be used. On the 18th and 19th of January, shuttles will be offered to/from some hotels- more information on that soon! For general city travel- Definitely try sitting in an auto rickshaw(an indian tuk-tuk) if you can, it's the most fun you'll ever have.
