Both Boulder and Lyons have an altitude of about 5,300 feet (1,655 meters) above sea level. If you are traveling from sea level, you might need a few days to adjust to the high altitude and dry climate. High altitude can sometimes cause headaches, tiredness, or nausea. Drink plenty of water to combat the symptoms, and take rest when you need it. If you are out exploring Colorado's great outdoors, be sure to wear sunscreen, as the sun is stronger at higher elevation. This also means you'll feel the effects of alcohol quicker than you normally do. Please pace yourself and drink responsibly.
Yes. We will have a buffet dinner service both nights, and will accommodate any dietaries and allergies you may have. Please indicate any dietaries on your RSVP.
Yes. There is plenty of parking at Planet Bluegrass and you may leave your car overnight until 11am the next morning. Please understand that as we are getting married in the mountain canyon, it is unlikely that Uber and Lyft will be available at the end of the night unless you pre-book.
Yes. We will provide shuttle services to and from the venue on Friday only. To secure your spot, please indicate on your RSVP that you would like to travel by shuttle. The shuttles will pick up and drop off from downtown Boulder.
Planet Bluegrass is a rustic venue in the middle of the canyon. We reccomend dressing for an Elegant Rustic Mountain Wedding. We'd like our guests to strike the perfect balance between embracing the rustic charm of the mountains and dressing elegantly for our special day. Footwear: Please wear comfortable shoes to navigate an uneven terrain, such as sandals and wedges. For our Hindu ceremony, we invite you to wear anything formal for a summer mountain wedding and/or any lehengas and sarees you may own.
