FAQs

Question

Where can I stay the night of the wedding?

Answer

There are many places to stay around Glenmont, including The Grand Hotel, The Mohican Lodge & Conference Center, and various cabins or treehouses at the Mohican Treehouse and Wedding Venue! There are also many options in Ashland, Mansfield, and Mt. Vernon, which are all about a 30 minute drive from the venue.

Question

I want to book a cabin or treehouse at the venue, but it says they're booked. How do I make a reservation?

Answer

Until March 2nd, all treehouses and cabins at the venue are blocked off specifically for our wedding. If you would like to stay in one of the on-site lodging options, please let us know as soon as you can with your preferred option. We will need to book the cabin/treehouse ourselves, and they will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. After March 2nd, the remaining cabins and treehouses will be available to the public, and will most likely book quickly!

Question

How do I view the cabins and treehouses?

Answer

Please visit the Mohican Treehouse Resort and Wedding Venue website (www.themohicans.net) to see their various lodging options!

Question

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

For a number of reasons, we have decided that our wedding will be child-free. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

Of course! However, we ask that you refrain from taking photos during our "unplugged" ceremony.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Absolutely!

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:45 so that you have time to find a seat. And please be aware - the roads leading to the venue are long, windy backroads, so please give yourself extra time to make it to the venue.
