FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than January 10, 2024.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP digitally. You can respond through the “RSVP” tab on this site or by scanning the QR code on the RSVP card included with your wedding invitation. If you have technical difficulties with the site, please email your response to brockwedding24@gmail.com.

Question

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “Will Not Attend” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code is cocktail or semi-formal attire. For gentlemen, this means opting for suits or blazers with dress pants, accompanied by a collared shirt and dress shoes. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, elegant midi dresses, or floor-length dresses, all paired with appropriate footwear. We kindly ask you to avoid wearing jeans to maintain the desired dress code.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We welcome all children formally listed on your invitation. If your invitation lists “The _ Family,” this includes your children. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests not listed due to limited venue space. Please note our reception will feature an open bar for your enjoyment. We encourage parents to view this as an opportunity for a special date night, should you prefer not to have your children in an environment with an open bar.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm sharp. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for (free valet) parking and settling into your seat on the rooftop.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

We will have FREE valet parking available in front of the venue for all guests. No need to tip. We will take care of that! For members of the wedding party arriving early, the closest and best parking option is the garage at One Dallas Center found at 350 N. St. Paul Street. This parking area is less than a block to the southeast of 400 North Ervay and a quick walk across Pacific Plaza into the building.

Question

Where will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place?

Answer

The entirety of the event will be held onsite at the Venue at 400 North Ervay. The historic US Post Office and Courthouse building, situated in the heart of downtown Dallas. The ceremony will be held on the rooftop (weather permitting), cocktail hour in the grand hall, and dinner in the courtroom on the third floor. After dinner, the rooftop will open back up for the reception.

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

No. We do not have hotel room blocks booked. Our venue is located in downtown Dallas, close to a variety of lodging options. We are happy to provide recommendations on local places to stay! Please send us an email at brockwedding24@gmail.com.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly request that you refrain from taking pictures during our ceremony as we will have professional photographers capturing our special day. However, we invite you to capture and share your memories during cocktail hour and the reception when phones and cameras are welcome.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar will open at cocktail hour, immediately following the ceremony. Please party accordingly and plan for a way to get home safely. Since we'll also have kiddos around, we ask parents to keep an eye on them. Let's keep it safe and fun for everyone!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the family of the bride and groom will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests will be directed to the third floor for cocktail hour where hor'dourves and beverages will be served. An open bar, espresso bar, and photo booth will be available for guests to enjoy.

Question

Will food or dinner be served?

Answer

Yes to both! For cocktail hour, a selection of hors d’oeuvres will be available. For our reception, we are excited to offer a delicious family-style dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate them.

Question

I have a dietary restriction. What should I do?

Answer

Our catering team is happy to accommodate a variety of allergies and dietary restrictions. Please text or email us directly to indicate any dietary restrictions, and we will make arrangements accordingly.

Question

What time does the wedding end?

Answer

Our grand exit will be at 10:45 pm.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer
