Long Island Railroad
You can travel from New York City to Greenport via the LIRR. Departures are from both Penn Station and Grand Central. Once in Greenport, the Ferry is walking distance, next to the train station.

Driving
The island is around a 3 hour drive from NYC. There's also a bus service from NYC (Hampton Jitney) to Greenport. From the drop off point, you can walk to the ferry.

Local Airports
The closest airports are Islip (ISP), Laguardia (LGA), and JFK. Upon arrival, we would recommend renting a car or traveling to Greenport via Uber/Lyft. There's also a Hampton Jitney pick-up location a short cab ride from LGA and JFK, "Queens Airport Connection - Eastbound".
