we tied the knot, let's celebrate!

After meeting on Tinder, we decided that we needed to meet in person. Scot was in Cleveland meeting with the communications director from the Cleveland Indians, and Shelby was finishing a yoga class around the same time that morning, so we decided to meet at Panera Bread. On the first date we did everything "wrong": overshared, talked about exes, and fell in love way too fast. Since then, we haven't spent more than a week apart.

Somehow Scot managed to buy a ring and plan an awesome proposal while spending 24/7 in a small apartment with Shelby during the pandemic. He had their favorite local singer, Madeline Finn, write a song about their love story, and had an entire backyard socially distanced private concert set up in the Stacho's back yard. She said yes and they both sobbed like babies. Madeline recorded the song for them to keep, and they danced to it on their original wedding night after all of the guests had left.

Shelby and Scot were married in the pergola at Coe Lake amongst their close friends and immediate family. It was raining almost the whole day, but stayed dry just long enough for a short and sweet ceremony and a few pictures. This past year, their love has only grown and they can't wait to finally celebrate with all of you!

We can't wait to finally have our special day with all of our family and friends.
