Due to the ceremony being outside in the Red Rocks of Sedona, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting semi formal attire, but keep in mind there will be minimal hiking (10-15 minute walk) involved and red sand! We recommend wearing something that is easy to move in and something you wouldn’t mind turning red from the iron in the sand. If you’d like to see what other guests have worn to similar weddings, check out Arizona Elopement Collective on Facebook and Instagram. IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING SHOES: Wear shoes that you’d be comfortable hiking/walking in for 15 minutes. NO pointed heels. Wedges, sneakers, flats, and boots will work! If you’d like to wear “dressier” shoes for the actual ceremony, you may bring them to change into once we arrive at the ceremony location. If you’d like to match our color scheme, the colors are listed in the Gallery portion of the website.
We love your kiddos, but we are not able to accommodate children attending unless otherwise stated on the invitation. If your children’s names are listed on the invitation, they are welcome to attend! Remember: the ceremony portion of the day will be taking place outdoors in the Red Rocks where minimal hiking will be required.
Due to many of our family and friends taking advantage of our “destination wedding” and extending their stay to make it a vacation, we do not have a hotel block reserved. Sedona has many beautiful hotels, resorts, AirBnbs, and VRBOS available. We have reserved an AirBnb for our stay.
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony, which means no phones. We have an incredible photographer who will be documenting the event. We ask all guests to follow this and be completely present during our ceremony. You are more than welcome to take photos at the reception as we will not have a photographer for that portion of our day - so please take many!
No.
We will be having pre wedding festivities on Saturday, September 28th that you are welcome to attend, but are not required to. The Sedona Wine Festival is happening that weekend, and we are inviting family and friends to join us in attending!
