We’re getting married!

Shekinah and Keyvien met in the Summer of 2019 at East Carolina University. Shekinah had just returned from her study abroad trip in Italy and Keyvien was preparing for his final semester of college. Bored one afternoon, Shekinah decided to visit an old friend at a local hangout resturant in town (most students and friends had returned home for summer). This was a very nerve wracking adventure for Shekinah as she rarely left the comfort of her home alone. But she stepped out on faith and refused to let her shyness keep her from what could be a fun social experience. Little did she know, Keyvien worked at the resturant. It had been a slow business day and once he caught her attention he insisted on making conversation with her. While his persistence was undesired at first, his charmed intrigued her and after a few hours the two exhanged numbers before she left. Days later, Keyvien called Shekinah for a proper date. This was the first date she’d been on in her four years at ECU. He picked her up in his lifted truck and they enjoyed their evening at Moes Southwest Grill. After finding out all of eachothers similarities, the two were inseparable.
