We recommend booking your stay here. This is also the place where we will be staying. It is not a hotel, but a Meditation Retreat center. This is the most convenient option since it is also the venue for our wedding and all the arrangements. We have also negotiated a special (reduced) price for you.

Agriturismo Arcobaleno in Montemezzo

This place is just across the road to Ananda Associazione. This is the second best option to book a place to stay. In case you book this place, and if you plan to attend all the events, you will need to pay for the events (except the Saturday full-day visit) and the food (except the post-wedding refreshements) at Ananda Associazione.

Train booking website

Trenitalia is the primary train operator of Italy. Please book all your train tickets by this website. In case you need to change the connections, you can do it by using the booking reference number and pay only for the difference before the start of the journey.

Rental Car

San Francesco d'Assisi Airport (Perugia)

There are many car rental available outside the San Francesco d'Assisi Airport. You will not really need a car rental unless you have any personal plans before or after the wedding.

Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (Rome)

We prefer this option: You can take a train from this airport to either Roma Termini or Roma Tiburtina train station. From there, take a train either to Gualdo Tadino or Assisi train station. This is the best option as there are many train connections. We will arrange a car pickup from Gualdo Tadino or Assisi train station to the venue, which is about a 20-30 minute drive.

When you arrive at the airport, we will arrange a car pickup to take you directly to the venue, just a 40-minute drive away.

Pisa International Airport (Pisa)

From Pisa Airport, take the Pisa Mover shuttle to Pisa central station. From there, take a train to Assisi train station. We will arrange a car pickup from Assisi train station to the venue, which is about a 30-minute drive.

From Ancona Airport, you can take a train to Gualdo Tadino train station. We will arrange a car pickup from Gualdo Tadino train station to the venue, which is about a 20-minute drive.

From Florence Airport, take the T2 tram toward San Marco to Santa Maria Novella Station. From there, take a train to Assisi train station. We will arrange a car pickup from Assisi train station to the venue, which is about a 30-minute drive.

We do not recommend this, but: we have some friends who frequently travel to Ananda Assisi by over-night long distance train.

There is a Bus from Munich to Assisi City, which takes around 12 hours. You could also check FlixBus.
