Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sarah Sheedy and Christopher Ferraro
There are so many wonderful things to do while you're here visiting the Lowcountry. Please see a few of our favorite recommendations below based on location -

University of South Carolina Beaufort - Bluffton campus

1 University Boulevard, Bluffton, SC 29909

The place Sarah and Chris met! We both attended and graduated from USCB and it holds a special place in our hearts. We were both Orientation Leaders, teaching incoming students about the campus and enrollment, when we first started dating back in 2017.

Old Town Bluffton

- Burnt Church Distillery: (S|C Fav!) Get the espresso martini... you won't regret it. - Old Town Dispensary: Great local musicians and locally crafted drinks. - Corner Perk: Best local coffee shop!! There is also one in HHI and Port Royal, but this is the OG. - Squat n Gobble: The oldest operating family-run restaurant in Bluffton! - The Church of the Cross: Filled with history and beautiful views of the May River. - Farmers Market of Bluffton: On Thursdays only; Stop by for fresh, local offerings and samples.

Hilton Head Island

- Sea Pines: ($9 gate fee) Tour Harbor Town and the infamous lighthouse. Stop by the new Quarterdeck for the best views in HHI! We recommend making a reservation. - Coligny Beach Park: The main tourist attraction! Great beaches, shops, restaurants and parks. - Shelter Cove: Perfect place for a day full of shopping! Several shops and restaurants to enjoy. We highly recommend Poseidon for a casual seafood dinner or their rooftop for late night. - The Triangle: Multiple wonderful restaurants open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After hours, it turns into the late night hub of Hilton Head, best place to go for dancing! - Hudson's Seafood House on the Docks: The best place for fresh, local seafood! Every seat in the house offers an amazing view of the Port Royal Sound. - Wise Guys: (S|C Fav!) Again, get the espresso martini.... best steakhouse on the island!

Savannah, GA

- River Street: Filled with history and filled with fun! Find over 70 restaurants, shops and bars down the cobble stone street along the river. Be sure to wear the right shoes and be careful walking up the historic staircases. Looking for the best night life? This is the place to be! Savannah has an open container policy allowing you to walk the streets with a drink in hand! - Forrest Gump Park Bench: Visit the famous park bench featured in the movie Forrest Gump! - Savannah History Museum: Savannah is full of history being America's first planned city. There's so much to learn about this beautiful city and the SHM is a one stop shop! - Ghost Tour: Savannah is considered one of America's most haunted cities. There are several tours to choose from - by foot, by trolley or by carriage!

Beaufort, SC

- Bay Street: Filled with restaurants, shops and the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park! - Hunting Island State Park: South Carolina's most popular state park home of the historical landmark, the Hunting Island Lighthouse. - USCB Historic Campus: The Beaufort Campus of USCB is located in the historic district overlooking the Intracoastal Waterways. Originating in 1795 as the first college in the area but becoming a full four-year university in 2004.
