We're getting married!

To this day, we're not sure how we ACTUALLY met. As is common in our community, you just KNOW everyone! We only found out well after the fact that we went the same MIDDLE SCHOOL. But our first grown-up encounter was through leading worship at a wedding we were called to by a mutual friend. We had always led worship individually, and God has just opened the door at the right time for us to worship together! Our love for God and worship brought us together.

Surprising Shay is the HARDEST thing anyone can do! She somehow finds out EVERYTHING! So naturally planning the proposal was harder than being a secret agent. Through the use of secret codes and tech savvy, Alex, along with his and Shay's closest friends and family, planned a day she would never forget. He took her back to the beginning. They had their first date at Silver Tips in Tarry-town. There he proposed to her at the very same table they had their first date.
