Tyler and I are so blessed to have such large families. We are overwhelmed with so much love and support from everyone. Due to the large families and limited venue space, we would like to allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves. We have chosen to make our special day with you be adults only, with the exception of the wedding party. We thank you for your understanding and we can't wait to see you all!
Tyler and Jessica both started at Uptown Alley where they both met. Jessica was a server and Tyler was a Team assistance. As Jess stood at the hostess stand one evening, she glanced over to see a funny, 90s'-spiked hair boy dancing awkwardly with their co-workers, and something in her heart lit up. Much to Jessica's efforts, Tyler was oblivious to her attempts at flirting. Once he realized her interest, he started following her around work awkwardly. Tyler's flirting style was unusual at best, but once he stopped following her, she questioned him why? She then followed up with, "Are you going to ask for my number?" When he asked, she replied, "No," suddenly and walked away. Confused, and several attempts later, she finally gave him her number. Then 7 years later with 2 beautiful sons, 2 cars, a mortgage and stable jobs, they both are happily awkwardly flirting with each other every day.
6 years into their relationship, they took a family vacation to California. Jessica challenged Tyler to eat the Filipino traditional Balut egg. Tyler walked away and Jess started thinking he chickened out. He came back out with a nice shirt and pants on. Confused, Jessica asked why he was dressed up, considering eating the Balut was going to messy. Next thing you know, he's on his one knee, with a ring in the box. Now, Jessica swears she didn't hear him pop the the question. He swears he did ask the question. Either way, she said yes, and Tyler ate the Balut.
