Best Man
I met Tommy back in 5th grade shortly after I moved to Texas. We both thought we could ride a skateboard in elementary, but definitely misjudged our skills. Thomas has been there for me as a friend and as a brother and somehow always puts a smile on my face. He might not be the most humble guy in our group as he will always call “Reigning champ” and leave if wins the last game, even after losing the first twenty. Unfortunately, he won’t be able to make it to the wedding, but he earns the position of best man regardless.
Best Man
Zack can be described as loud and obnoxious sometimes, and that’s what introduced me to him in 7th grade. We had every class together at the new middle school in town and became great friends. Zack and I have done a lot of dumb things together throughout the years, but we’ve always looked out for each other. He’s an extremely competitive person and we might butt heads when we play games together, but especially against each other. Zack is a brother to me and also takes the role of best man for the wedding.
Groomsman
If there was a smartest guy in the room contest, Brian wins. The guy is a genius, but the most humble of my groomsmen. A genuine person who is always trying to lend a hand if anyone needs it. Although he’s a quiet guy, he never misses with his one-liners that catch you off guard.
Groomsman
Brock is a very outgoing person and was easy to make friends with in college. He introduced me to most of the friends I made in college, and is a great hype-man. We’ve always had each other’s backs, and now we both drive Subies and are both pilots. That itself classifies him as a cool dude
Groomsman
Chandler is the kind of guy that could tell me a story about the time he picked up a pencil from the floor and probably make me laugh at least twice doing so. A master crafter of storytelling, Chandler has been one of my best friends since 5th grade. Chandler loves to plan a great time with the boys and always is finding ways to bring us back together.
Groomsman
Matt loves memes. In our group chat, it never fails he responds with some meme that I am amazed is even created. Being friends with him since 7th grade has allowed us to see Matt go through several different phases of his life, to include super nerd, pun guy, and now meme man. Matt would do anything for you, but then probably make about 6 jokes while doing so.
Maid of Honor
So excited to have Julia as one of my maids of honor! Julia is my cousin but has always been a sister to me! She is my rock. We grew up running around our grandfather’s Christmas tree farm together. But also, she only lived an hour away from me in Annapolis, Maryland and we were in the same grade. So I was lucky that she was so involved with all my friends! She has always and will always be such a big part of my life. She is caring, courageous, outgoing, and loving! She is very passionate about people, nature, and art. Super excited to have her by my side on my wedding day!
Maid of Honor
I’m very blessed to have two maids of honor! Sophie is also my cousin but has been a sister to me! Sophie is the definition of the life of the party. Even on off days she always gives 100%! It’s a quality that I have always admired in her! She brightens up every room she walks into and makes everything more fun. I can’t wait to see what life brings her and am thankful I get to be a part of it. Can’t wait for her to be by my side on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
I met Meghan when I was 5 years old. We lived in the same neighborhood but really meet though Jocey. We never went to school together which is mind blowing based on how close we were our entire lives. She has always been a sister to me! Meghan is half Swedish and I’m so blessed for the opportunity to have seen where she is from and met her grandmother, cousins, and family friends. I don’t know what I would do without Meghan and the older we get the more I appreciate our lifelong friendship!
Bridesmaid
I met Catherine in Kindergarten! Growing up, I was honored to be so involved with her amazing family. From dinners at the table, sleepovers, Jimmy Buffett parties, to car trips to Richmond and her family farm. Her family included me my whole life! Catherine is such a big influence on me and a big part of who I am today. She is funny, loyal, and smart. Catherine is the strongest person I know and I don’t tell her enough how much I value and admire her. I’m so thankful to have her by my side for my wedding!
Bridesmaid
I met Jocey at Kindergarten orientation! We also lived in the same neighborhood. Some of the core memories I have with Jocey are tap classes, being involved in her church, and our dads coaching our basketball team over the years! Growing up I always loved going to all her plays, musicals, and choir concerts she was in! Jocey is talented, strong, and is a great mother! I’m so excited she will be with me on my wedding!
Bridesmaid
I met Siera in kindergarten! We went to different colleges but she came to visit me at school in Florida. This trip meant so much to me to share my world with someone I grew up with! We are always doing fun things together like going on trips, hiking, and Caps games. She is someone I can always go to when I need advice. I value and trust her opinion so much! She is truly a beautiful soul! I’m honored she will be by my side on my wedding day!
Bridesmaid
I met Sam in college though our sorority! We later became roommates and I’m so thankful for that experience. Sam was my adventure buddy through college! From trips to Daytona, Nashville, and St. Augustine, we always had a great time. Can’t wait for our trips in the states and abroad next! Sam is dedicated, adventurous, independent, and caring. She was there for a lot of Mike’s and my journey and I’m so excited she is being a part of our next step!
