The ceremony at Channing Memorial Church ends around 4pm and you have around 2 hours to explore the neighborhood. Guest will be able to enter the Rosecliff grounds at around 5:30pm for photo opportunities. I suggest exploring the quaint urban streets and have a stroll at the Cliff Walk.

On our invitation, we specified "black tie required" to remind guests to look their best for the wedding. For men, suits and tie are the minimum. For ladies, tea length to full length gown is suggested. There will be a lot of photo opportunities so I want guests to go home with the best memories.

Parking is very limited in Newport because the streets are narrow and summer is a busy time for the little town. There is no designated parking at Channing Memorial Church. I strongly encourage guests to share cars and utilize street parking or nearby paid parking lots. For the reception, there is designated parking lot across the street from Rosecliff Mansion.

Unfortunately, no there is not. Most guests will be renting cars, so guests can share rides and attend the event together.

Only family members and wedding party are asked to participate in the rehearsal dinner. However, we will be having a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony before the rehearsal dinner and guests are welcome to partake in this cultural event. The rehearsal dinner afterwards is an opportunity for family and wedding party to rehearse for the next day. I recommend guests to explore Newport on foot during this time and enjoy the fresh local seafood while you can! Why not give the New England Clam Chowder a go?
