Please RSVP online by September 1st, 2023.
Suggested attire is "woodsy summer semi-formal". Ballgowns and tuxes may be a bit out of place, but don't be afraid to wear something celebratory, colorful, and of course comfortable; slacks, skirts, jumpsuits, jackets, are all welcome! Keep in mind that we'll be walking on barkchip, so choose your shoes accordingly.
Our guest list is intentionally limited to those who have played a meaningful role in our lives and relationship; we are only able to welcome those listed on your invitation.
Due to venue capacity and safety restrictions, we unfortunately aren't able to accommodate children at our wedding beyond the immediate family of the bride and groom. We hope you can leave the little ones with a trusted sitter and enjoy a free-wheeling evening with us!
Having built a life together over the last decade, we've been lucky to amass all that we need (and more) for our home; a card box will be available at the venue for well-wishes and advice. While your presence is gift enough, if you're feeling particularly generous, we kindly request that you contribute to our 'honeymoon' or 'house' funds - more details on the Registry page!
Most of our festivities will take place outdoors in the forest, though dancing will take place under a covered structure.
Mid-September in Oregon is typically low 70s - mid 80s, though it will be a few degrees cooler in the trees. Light layers are recommended, as temperatures can drop quickly in the evening despite a warm day!
Both ceremony and reception will be held at Camp Cedar Ridge in Vernonia, Oregon.
Our venue is 1 hour outside of Portland by car: it is not accessible by public transportation, nor is there a shuttle service. Please plan accordingly when booking your lodging, and see our "Travel" page for more details. If coming from Portland: -Take US-26 West for 33 miles -Exit Right onto OR-47 N -Continue on OR-47 N for 16 miles -Turn Right on Bridge Ave -Turn Left on State Ave, which continues as Keasey Rd -Continue on Keasey Rd for 1 mile -Turn Left into Camp Cedar Ridge, following "WEDDING" signs for parking
The ceremony will start promptly at 3pm. We recommend arriving early to grab a welcome drink, mingle with other guests, and soak in a beautiful late summer day in Oregon!
