We're Finally Getting Married!

Cole went to Jefferson HS and I (Shayla) went to Benton. Cole messaged me on Instagram and we quickly became friends. As soon as we met in person, we hit it off, there was an undeniable connection between the two of us. Our first time meeting up we just walked around the mall in Iowa City for hours and hours just talking and getting to know each other. We quickly started to see each other as often as possible and I knew he was my forever person.

While we were in Vegas celebrating a friend's 21st birthday, we went out to the red rock canyon. I was walking farther behind Cole and his two friends, I was worried there would be a snake because I was wearing sandals. The vibe started to shift and I felt like something was up, because of how his friends were acting. While posing for a picture I saw cole put his hand in his pocket out of the corner of my eye. When he dropped to his knee I was stunned, this was something I didn't see coming! I laughed and cried and told him yes!! When we were walking back to the car, we ran across a snake!! His friends screamed "Snake" and bolted to the car, leaving Cole and me frozen in our tracks. We sprinted back to the rocks and waited it out until the snake was gone.
