What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early to the ceremony to enter the gardens. We do plan for our ceremony to start on time so please be sure you are seated and ready as late arrivals that arrive after 5:20PM will miss the ceremony and join us at cocktail hour.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire with shoes that are comfortable for an outdoor event and dancing is most ideal! While our wedding colors are sage green, dusty blue, and blush, we would love for everyone to wear bright spring colors!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

This is an adult only event, so we ask that you secure babysitting services for the kids for a night of fun!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you consider RSVPing once you know your plans for attendance. RSVP is required to join us by March 1, 2025. If you need support on this, please contact Sheriah at 205-393-8101. The RSVP deadline has now passed and we are no longer accepting RSVPs, as we have submitted our final counts to our vendors. We would have loved to have you attend and we are so sorry you can’t make it to celebrate with us on our big day! Your presence will be missed. Love Shay and Carey

Can I bring a date?

We are limited on spacing and ask that only those with the invitation addressed to attend the event. We do not plan to have additional seating for those who do not RSVP.

Question

Where do I park and where do I go once I get to the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Park Crest Event Facility in the gardens. Please drive to the top of the hill and enter the gate on your left to enter the top parking lot for Park Crest. The venue building will be on your left and the gardens will be straight ahead on the other side of the parking lot. Don’t worry, there will be signs at the entrance! There will be overflow parking in the lower parking lot outside of the reception entrance. The lower parking lot can be reached by turning right out of the top parking lot and driving down the hill to the next right turn, just past the main reception building.
