It was best-friends-at-first-sight when Erin and Kristin met their junior year of high school in Waterloo. They were both on the school dance team, were soccer team managers, enjoyed many classes together and even graduated with the exact same GPA! While they went their separate ways in college, Kristin attending Iowa and Erin attending Drake, they frequently visited and kept in touch, stirring up their fair share of trouble. They've yet to live in the same city for any length of time in their adult lives but have remained best friends to this day. Erin works in PR specializing in healthcare. She and her husband Tim Gass live in Memphis, TN with their five year old son, Henry.
Jeremy Lind

Shawn and Jeremy met in Shawn's early years in Iowa City and they became fast friends. Jeremy eventually moved away but he and Shawn stayed close by frequently playing Xbox together, a hobby that has lasted until this day! (They are affectionately known as "Chief" and "Bubs") Jeremy lives in Portland with his fiancé Crystal and their two cats!
Tyler Pedersen

Shawn met Tyler around 2008 when Tyler and friends moved in next door. They all became fast friends and got into their fair share of trouble together. Tyler and (his now wife) Jenna moved to Denver, CO soon after. Shawn and Tyler stayed in touch and rekindled their bromance when Tyler and Jenna moved back to Iowa City during the pandemic. Shawn and Tyler enjoy golfing and watching, commentating on and complaining about sports together. Tyler is in sales at Push, Pedal, Pull. He and his wife Jenna live in Iowa City with their 3 year old son Jack and boxer Bode.
Kristin Kline
Bride
Kristin was born and raised in Waterloo, IA. She attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a double major in Communication Studies and Cinema (why not?!) After graduation she worked in advertising in Cedar Falls and moved to Des Moines in 2012 to work at Meredith Corporation in database marketing. In 2019 Kristin began working remotely from Iowa City. She recently took a new position at Chicago based media agency Spark Foundry as Associate Director of Data Architecture where she consults her clients Walgreens and Telemundo on their use of data in their digital media campaigns. In her spare time, Kristin enjoys running, reading and traveling with friends.
Shawn McQuade
Groom
Shawn was born in Detroit Lakes, MN and moved to Ossipee, NH when he was young. When Shawn was in high school he moved to Holstein, Iowa with his family. After high school Shawn moved to Iowa City and began his career as an electrician. Shawn did his apprenticeship and became a union journeyman. In 2009 he joined Acme Electric out of Cedar Rapids. Shawn has grown into one of Acme's top commercial Foremen. In his spare time, Shawn enjoys golfing, boating, Xbox, cheering on the Patriots and all Boston professional teams.
