Shannon's best friend for nearly 30 years. They met at Albany High School and navigated their teenage years together...turning heads, pushing boundaries, and causing trouble as much as they could. They traveled to Paris at age 16, Italy in their 20s, and New Orleans in their 30s. Jocelin is the life of any party. She is also the most reliable and loyal and kindest best friend anyone could have.

Shannon's best friend for nearly 25 years. Jen and Shannon were cross country and track & field teammates at Manhattan College. They spent so many hours together in NYC talking and laughing while they were running miles and miles. Since their college days, they have made it a point to stay connected and see each other at least once a year. Jen is as competitive as they come yet she's an amazingly sweet and caring friend.

Fellow Norcal cyclist and transplant to the Bay Area from NY. Hallie and Shannon have a lot in common...from their cynical and sarcastic sense of humor to their competitiveness and athletic prowess. They have become closer over the last 2 years as they've supported each other during numerous health set backs. They’re both hoping this year will be happier and healthier than the last few.

Shannon Walsh is Sean's favorite cousin:) He never actually said that but that's the impression you get if you hear him talk about her. He goes on about how fun she is and how she can drink him under the table...by far. Sean is worried about the two Shannon's together but his wife-to-be Shannon cannot wait to meet favorite cousin Shannon.

Gia was one of the first few women cyclists Shannon met when she moved to California in 2017. Gia is smart and talented and can do anything which is of course what made Gia and Shannon instantly compatible. They can talk cycling, family, business, and anything and everything else. That is when they find the time to talk at all because Gia juggles a busy career or two and she became a super MOM last year to beautiful boy Constantin!
Haydn MacKay
Best Man
An obviously crazy Aussie. Thickest accent for living in the Bay Area for over 20 years. Haydn and Sean have best mates for at least 20 years but he quickly became Shannon's favorite bloke, too. Haydn is such a good friend of ours that he has his own room at our home and our cats miss him while he's gone.
Jason Cruser

Solid guy. Always there for Sean whether he needs to do intervals in the heat of the summer up Mt Diablo or grab beer to vent about his woman and other issues. Jason and Sean are teammates and best buds and fellow punk music fans. Two peas in a pod.
Joel Smith

Sean has known this guy his whole life. He's the smarter and more introverted of the Smith boys but buy him a Pink Lady if you want to get him going. Then he's a real hoot!
Erich Malvre

A classic dude that Sean has known since his early cycling days in the Bay Area. Sean looks up to this guy in so many ways and he makes him laugh like no one else does. Erich is the chillest person you'll ever meet. Even ask our cat, Charlie. He loves Erich and that says it all.

Groomsman #4. That's all there really is to say. Lol. Seriously though, Andrew is like Sean's little brother. Sean has known Andrew since his grad school days. Andrew moved out here from Wisconsin and of course they met through cycling. Do you see a theme?
