Fat Cat Coffee House

Fat Cat Coffee House

Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez 03001, Guatemala

Very hip coffee house. Try a "carajillo": a 43 spice coffee liqueur poured over an excellent cold brew on ice.

Hotel Casa Santo Domingo

Hotel Casa Santo Domingo

28 A 3a Calle Oriente, Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It was a monastery but has been converted into a luxury hotel. There is an amazing outdoor museum of the ruines and the food is excellent.

Shopping

Shopping

Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez Department, Guatemala

Antigua is comparable to a "beach town" in which everything is within blocks from another. Check out all the boutiques and handmade goods. Antigua is famous for jade and of course coffee. If you don't want to buy anything you can just say "Gracias, pero solo estoy viendo."

San Martín Antigua Guatemala

San Martín Antigua Guatemala

#5 6a Calle Poniente, Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez, Guatemala

San Martin is the best ~ My favorite restaurant chain in Guatemala, but not at all like a chain that you will think of. Their restaurants are usually in antique buildings with original designs per restaurant, food is wonderful and fresh with great options for more familiar dishes to the typical Guatemalan food but in an elegant way. Plus their coffee is very good.

For all the days along the way
