Let the adventure begin!

A pandemic can certainly put a holt to things( a delay in having the actual engagement ring), but Mark still carried out his plan to propose to me on this day. We went for a hike at Point Mountain, which is where we went on our first of many hikes together. After getting to the top of the mountain we took a seat to enjoy the view and when I turned around he was down on one knee proposing to me. We were both elated and soaked up every minute of it. The funny part is that due to Covid 19 Mark had quite a bit of trouble getting my actual engagement ring, so he had a back up ring for the day. It didn't change a thing though and I couldn't be happier that he chose that day to propose. We took a different way down from the mountain and ended up getting lost. It took a bit more time than we had planned, but eventually we made our way around fields and got out. We continued our day by visiting family and celebrating the big news. We couldn't be happier to begin this adventure together!
