First and foremost, we really want to apologize for all of the date changes over the past year. COVID did not make wedding planning in 2020 or 2021 easy! Due to unforeseen limitations with our venue, we were challenged to find a new location and date for our wedding and we didn't want to delay our special day any further and wait until 2022. Instead of a large 200+ person wedding, we've opted to celebrate with those nearest and dearest to us and with our families being top of mind. We of course realize that a mid-week wedding just 2 months away is difficult to plan for (hey, we didn't expect this either!), but we guarantee it will be worth it and we really hope you can join us! We want our wedding to be a casual, beachside affair surrounded by our closest family and a handful of friends, great wine, good food, an unforgettable setting and most of all, LOVE.
Cocktail please, and traditional Indian attire is certainly encouraged! But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Keep in mind that the ceremony venue is outdoors and there is grass and gravel to travel on, so ladies, be sure to wear sensible shoes. Dinner will also be outdoors. While the temperature should be in the 80's +, please do bring a light wrap or jacket with you in case it gets breezy at night.
Yes! The venue in Santa Barbara logistically requires that you are shuttled in and out. We will be providing party buses from a central hotel located in Downtown Santa Barbara to transport you to and from Santa Barbara and then to dinner. More details to come!
Please don't! We will do everything possible to be sure you are on the bus, including having multiple departure times and locations based on where guests are staying. If you do miss the bus, there are plenty of Ubers in Santa Barbara. Please note that you are not allowed to drive your own car to the venue.
Uber is abundant in Santa Barbara and most beaches are within walking distance from Downtown and State Street. However, if you plan to day trip to the San Ynez Valley, Ojai or Los Olivos wine country, hike near Lake Cachuma or explore nearby surf beaches and towns, we definitely recommend having a car. Downtown Santa Barbara is a totally walkable city and biking is also highly recommended and safe!
