his hotel is offering a discounted rate for wedding guests and it is 10 minute drive from downtown. NOTE FROM THE HOTEL: Please keep in mind that this link provides a set discount off of the regular rate at the time of booking so room rates will fluctuate as the regular rate goes up or down. I'd say the sooner your family and friends can book, the better. We have a 24 hour cancellation, so the reservations can always be changed or cancelled later if need be, but it is generally best to book early - especially if there are other events in the area over your dates. Woodville Bed and Breakfast

This Bed and Breakfast is an 18-minute drive from the venue. It offers a cottage that can be booked out by a group and sleeps up to 4 people. It has one bedroom with a king-sized bed and the living room features a queen-sized sofa bed. Lastly, it has a full-sized washer/dryer for your use and a full-size kitchen. In addition to the cottage, there is a main guesthouse that offers 4 bedrooms that can be booked separately or by a big group of 8 people and each room has a queen bed sleeping 2 people to a room.

This Bed and Breakfast is 14 minutes from the venue. It offers a cottage that can be booked out by a couple as it sleeps 2 people. It has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a living room, a kitchenette (with refrigerator, microwave coffee maker, stove & oven), and a full bathroom with a shower. In addition to the cottage, there is a main guesthouse that offers 4 bedrooms that can be booked separately or together with a big group of 8-9 people. 3 of the bedrooms have a queen bed and 1 of the bedrooms has 1 double bed & 1 twin bed.

Washington Dulles (IAD)

Flying from Dublin into Washington Dulles (IAD) has shown to be the best flight option in regards to price and the fact that United Airlines and Aer Lingus both offer nonstop/direct flights. On January 8th, I checked the prices for roundtrip flights from May 3rd to May 10th and it is around $400 for both airlines.

Charlottesville (CHO)

It is possible to fly from Dublin to Charlottesville, but there are no nonstop flights. Delta and United offer flights with one-stop. On January 8th, the roundtrip flights from May 3rd-May 10th were around $800.

Train

Amtrak

For our guests flying into Washington Dulles (IAD) you can then take the train to Charlottesville. The Amtrak train is great and the sooner you are able to book it the better the price! You would depart from Union Station in Washington D.C. (WAS) and arrive in Charlottesville, VA (CVS). On January 8th, I checked the roundtrip cost and it starts at $22 for coach.

Bus From Dulles Airport (IAD) to Union Station (Amtrak Train)

There is a bus that goes from Dulles Airport (IAD) to Union Station (Amtrak Train), but the times available are very limited. They have departures of 1pm, 1:15pm, and 5:45pm. Each trips duration also varies from 45minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes so definitely pay attention to those!
