It's about a 20 minute walk if you would like to walk. You take also the Q18 or Q102 bus. It's about a 15 minute bus ride. You can also take Uber, Lyft or Juno or drive your car. It's about a 5 minute drive.
There is street parking only at the church. If you plan to drive, leave a little extra time to find parking. There is free valet parking at the reception.
There might be a short gap from 4-5pm between the ceremony and the reception, so that Shannon and Henry can have time to take pictures. During this time you can visit Astoria Park or Socrates sculpture park, they are right near our reception and have beautiful views of the East River and the Manhattan skyline. There are also lots of bars and coffee shops in Astoria you can explore.
Cocktail hour starts at 5pm. There will be an hour of hors d'oeuvres and drinks from 5-6pm. At around 6pm guests will be able to move downstairs to their tables and the eating, drinking and dancing will begin!
There will be gluten, dairy, and meat free options. During cocktail hour those hors d'oeuvres will be at a station for your convenience.
