Our friend, Aaron Ehinger, is an incredibly talented photographer. We had a blast walking around our neighborhood and taking these pics with him.
Our first ever picture together. Maybe, if Shannon knew this would end up on a wedding website one day, maybe she would have smiled instead of being goofy. Who's to say?
Our first of many photo booth pics! This was taken at Rainbo Club in Wicker Park a couple of months into our relationship.
Visiting Shannon's brother in Austin, Texas. This is at a Mexican restaurant that had a surprisingly picturesque backdrop.
We like to dance.
It was 30 degrees below zero in Chicago the week we visited LA. We felt bad about having so much fun at Disneyland when everyone was so miserable back home. I mean, kind of.
A rare family portrait with our late pet, Miles.
May you find someone who looks at you the way David looks at Shannon in this specific picture.
At David's friend Joe's wedding in 2019.
Our third anniversary was in lockdown. We rented an airbnb off the lake in Michigan and spent most of our time playing Donkey Kong Country.
Our first night out after getting vaccinated was also Shannon's birthday. We did all of the things we missed in lockdown: shopping at thrift stores, eating at a restaurant, and drinking in a dive bar.
We go to a lot of Sox games.
An early-pandemic virtual wedding for David's friends, Steve and Alejandra.
Our hotel room in Vegas was bigger than our apartment.
One of the many times Shannon dragged David to an amusement park. This was at Fright Fest at Six Flags Great America.
The night we got engaged. Immediately after David got down on one knee, a GrubHub driver walked by shaking styrofoam containers and yelling supportive things.
The day after we got engaged, we went to the Museum of Science and Industry. A nice teenage girl asked if she could take this picture for us. She did a bang up job.
We bought a 20 game package for the White Sox and got on the scoreboard so much that it started to lose its novelty. We were still very excited about it at this crosstown classic though.
Our first night in London at a mini-golf bar. Fun fact: Shannon has no idea she has covid in this pic!
At Wembley Stadium!
