Taking the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) is a great way to get to Montauk! From JFK: - Take the air train to Jamaica Station - Take the LIRR from Jamaica Station to Montauk Train Station - Once you are in Montauk Uber and local cab services are a great way to get where you need to go From NYC: - Take the LIRR directly from Penn Station to Montauk Train Station - Amtrak also goes in to Penn Station, so this is a great option for people taking the train to NY - Once you are in Montauk Uber and local cab services are a great way to get where you need to go The MTA Train Time App is a great way to track train times, and buy tickets virtually.
