Shane and Jess first met in the summer of 2012. It’s very fitting that they met at a brewery. Shane saw Jess up in front of him in the line and was immediately smitten. They chatted and exchanged numbers and dated briefly, but Jess wasn’t quite ready for a relationship so she friend zoned him. They were still friends and running buddies, but after about a year or so Jess realized Shane was the only person she wanted to talk to if something happened and he was the one she wanted to be with on special occasions. She eventually admitted her feelings for him, and they have been together ever since.
