When should I buy my flight ticket and book my accommodation?

ASAP, the summer can be quite a busy time in the South Downs National Park area. We recommend that you organize bookings that are refundable or changeable and/or that you get trip insurance since you never know what can happen, especially these years.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

How do I find the church if travelling by train and taxi from London?

Answer

Take the South Western Railway service to Petersfield Station. Trains run from London Waterloo station and take roughly 1 hour – 1 hour 30 minutes depending on which service you take. There is a taxi stand at Petersfield station however we recommend booking a taxi in advance just in case. You can tell the taxi driver you are going to Steep church next to Bedales school. They will know where to go. There is no public transport from Petersfield station to All Saints Church in Steep. If you are travelling by car, Google Maps is the easiest way to find the church.
