IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT ASHTON HILL FARM?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at Ashton Hill Farm for those driving to the venue.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to the venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle to the venue provided from the Irish Cottage Inn & Suites and the Best Western Galena. We are also working on potentially adding a third hotel stop to the route. The pick up locations and schedule will be communicated as we get closer. Please check back for this information! The other hotels or Airbnb/Vrbo, can be accessed by Rideshare or other Taxi services if desired.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. Please be in your seat at 4:25pm.

Indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors! Restrooms located indoors. The reception will be indoors.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CEREMONY?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride and groom will be occupied with various photos! Guests can head back up to the building for cocktail hour, where we will have some appetizers and yard games. The dinner reception will start around 6:30 PM.

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code is dressy casual - since we are having an outdoors ceremony in the heart of a Midwest summer, please dress nice but comfortable for the weather! Please no jeans, tank tops, t-shirts, or flip-flops.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. The one exception will be the groom's nieces, as they are part of the wedding party.
