After boldly swiping right, Shannon and Andrew met for cocktails at a neighborhood bar, Elsa. While most of that August evening is a blur, "Shandrew" can agree that two things absolutely happened: Shannon showed Andrew a photo of herself dressed as Guy Fieri, and Andrew realized he'd never again meet a woman quite like Shannon. Fast forward a few dates, a whole lot of steaks, and one grossly oversized oyster... and the rest, as they say, is history.

Valentine's Day: It's a holiday tied up in clichés. Yet for us it's turned out to be a surprisingly meaningful celebration year after year; one that commemorates the hard work we’ve done to become the best partners to each other. Who knew (well, Andrew knew) that Valentine's Day 2021 would be the most special? It started with a visit to the local Cat Cafe, followed by a trip to Elsa and a walk down the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. Just when the festivites appeared to be over, Andrew got down on one knee in our living room. Here's to many more Valentine's Days, or as they shall now be called: Shandrewtine’s Days.
