Facebook is a good way to stay current with events, catch up with classmates, share information and to meet the love of your life! Matari and Shanda grew up in the same church but paths never crossed. In fact, he didn't even remember her. Due to their slight age difference, he jokes he was in regular service while she was in mini church. They had been FB friends for years even though neither remembers how or when. But one day Matari came in her inbox with a casual convo, mixed with a little slick talk she couldn't refuse and they exchanged numbers. After a year long distance friendship, they decided to meet for a "socially distanced" Starbucks date and they officially became Pandemic boos. To date they have never stopped dating. In a helicopter ride, 2000 feet in the sky, Matari asked her to be his wife and they both were hysterically laughing as she said yes. That laughter has been the thing that has held them together through ups and downs of life, God has given joy for sorrow and exchanged laughter for our tears. For this we are grateful!
